About BJÖRNHUVUD

BJÖRNHUVUD (Swedish for BEAR HEAD) is the hero we need, but don't deserve. When not rescuing kittens, puppies, Scandinavian bikini models, and Navy Seals from sinking ships, BJÖRNHUVUD  repairs and tunes some of the most critical engines - in the world. Growing up and living in the American West, BJÖRNHUVUD has been developing extreme-range shooting and precision load development skills for over 35 years. Whether laying siege to a town of prairie dogs, exposing corruption in tactical steel competitions, or solving the world's problems with other heroes in the Brotherhood of the Gun, BJÖRNHUVUD can drop a projectile into less than 1/3 MOA out to a mile.

BJÖRNHUVUD is less concerned with 3-shot groups at 100 yards than 5 and 10-shot groups at 600, 1100, and beyond, and has repeated success with the models shown in the cartridges listed when using custom loads. All barrels are dialed into less than 0.0002" of parallel and concentricity of the bore before making any cuts. All cuts are in such close relationship with the bore axis, they eventually exchange rings and take vows.

All models with shouldered cartridges have less than 0.0002" of headspace, and ensure your custom load sends the bullet out the barrel in the exact same way with every shot. BJÖRNHUVUD knows you want to brag to your friends about having a rifle that can break a clay pigeon at 1000 yards on the first shot, and then pick off a fragment of that broken pigeon with the second.

BJÖRNHUVUD knows you need a custom rifle built by a legendary, heroic figure from Montana, so you can once again let your friends know about your exclusive contacts in the Brotherhood of the Gun. You know you want to be part of the precision rifle night club, and BJÖRNHUVUD can secure your entry into the VIP section. There may even be some spare Scandinavian bikini models about whom you can, once again, gloat to your friends. You know those friends. The ones who can barely manage to keep 12 inch groups at 800 yards.

Testimonials

In the last 20 years, the most rifle shooting I've done is some minor plinking with a 22. I've always had an interest in long range, but never had any opportunities to do it. When I picked up my Heavy, Bjornhuvud took me to a local range for some informal training. During the first box of ammo, I was able to place multiple rounds within less than 2" at 700 yards. This was in conditions with gusting and shifting crosswinds. The next day, we went to another range with even more difficult winds. I was able to place at least 10 rounds into less than a 4" group at 960 yards. All of this with factory ammo. I'm already preparing to have Bjornhuvud build me a Feather for an upcoming hunt. I would recommend a Bjornhuvud Rifle to anyone interested in taking long and extreme range shooting seriously.
